What we are doing to help reduce drunk driving and underage drinking among teens:
We support infusion of DWI information into school curriculum.
CURRICULUM INFUSION: Presentation Videos, DWI Victim Presentations, Pledges
and Distribuition of Educational Material.
GRADE SCHOOL: Presentation of Educational Videos which give information on
the effects of Drug and Alcohol abuse.
MIDDLE SCHOOL: A more realistic Presentation, where victims of DWI, communicate with
Students about: Drugs, Alcohol, Health Issues and Peer Pressure.
HIGH SCHOOLS: We support the "Every 15 Minutes" Program sponsored by the
Santa Fe DWI Planning Council. We also make videos and speakers available to Santa Fe Schools.
COLLEGE: Impact DWI is supporting the "Infusion Program" at Santa Fe Community
College where over 400 students in 28 classes were given information
and assigments regarding Drugs, Alcohol and / or DWI. One of the assigments
was to do court monitoring of DWI cases. The Infusion Program was initiated by
the Santa Fe DWI Planning Council.
PREVENTION PROGRAMS: We support Prevention Programs who have demonstrated to our board of directors that the
money will be used to address the reduction of Substance Abuse and Underage Drinking among Youth.

Who does most of our school presentations?
Meet Margaret Oster, President of Impact DWI and Youth Program Coordinator.
Margaret has done several Youth Outreach Programs throughout Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho Public Schools and Charter Schools.
For the past 7 years Margaret has delivered a powerful underage drinking program for ABQ Juvenile Detention Center, charter schools and Drug Courts.
Margaret has also designed and developed all of our websites and Power Point Presentations on Alcohol and Drugs Education to further awareness among youth and adults alike.
Margaret has an amazing ability of connecting with young people, and that's what makes her presentations unique and worthwhile.
She has recently created the "Do Art, Not Drugs" Program with a firm belief that Art, Photography and Film not only engage young people in social issues,
but safeguard them against the pressure of substance abuse. Click the image below to visit the website.
