1. Review of Previous Minutes: Approved

2. Financial Report: Eighteen Month report from Dick.(amended to end of 2009)

Income $24,962.00
Expenses $28,094.54
12/31/09 Balance: $16,174.60

3. Nomination and Election of Officers for 2010: The following were nominated and Elected:
President: Margaret Oster
Vice President: Patty Owens
Secretary: Karin Roth
Treasurer: Richard DeMella
Legal Counsel: William Waggoner
Executive director: Richard Roth.

4. Agreed to continue support of Margaret's work-website expenses-

5. Support for Impact DWI Programs: Expenses Authorized:

a. Up to $5000 to support Margaret's work: Updating websites (Behavioral Health Assn; ImpactDWI.org; PEDAforTeens.org; and AlcoholTaxIncrease.org), anti-DWI programs for youth and adults, setting up a new website for Dick's DWI research.

b. Support for Dick's work, VIP's, surveys, research, organization, monitoring, office support.
Office assistant up to $400/month; office utilities $150.00/month

c. Police Checkpoint support: Approved pizza and beverage expenses.

d. Up to $1000 for identifying, recognizing, and publicizing effective judges.

e. Up to $500 for secure storage of Impact DWI and DWI Research Data.

6. Consideration of Grant Requests:

a. Juan's sober House: Approved $2000

b. Warehouse 21 was not supported at this time.

c. Tentatively agreed to support Richard DeMella's tutoring program for youth with the goal of keeping kids in school, subject to submission of proposal from Richard.

c. SWAT: Agreed to support subject to evidence of outreach.

d. Santa Fe Recovery Center: Agreed to $1000 one-time contribution.

7. Community Forum follow-up: Possible Year Anniversary Memorial for 4 teens killed in Santa Fe County car crash in 2009.

8. Agreed to continue $500/year support of Gail Terzuola's internet teaching of alcohol counseling classes.
Urged Executive Director to express appreciation to SFCC free use of rooms for Victim Impact Panels.
