We are based in Santa Fe, and have been in operation since 1999. We are a tax-exempt corporation operating under section 501 c (3) of the internal revenue code.

3. 2010 Taxes: Dick will prepare 1090's for those persons who received more than $600 during
2010, namely Margaret Oster, Audrey Kempton, Joann Sartoriu and, Martin Grajeda Done - 1/26/11
4. Nominations and Elections to the Board: The following were nominated and elected:

5. P.E.D.A for Teens Website: Margaret asked for additions to the website to include mentoring through art,
thus motivating youth to submit work for annual prizes.
Art, photography and film contests include cash prizes and honorable mention awards, with 2-3 pages within the website for exposure.
The Board authorized up to $1,000 for P.E.D.A.'s art & film contests and and up to $5,000 for existing website programs. Approved.

Support for Impact DWI Programs
a. Support for Margaret's Work
b. Dick's work with VIP's surveys, research, organization, mentoring, office support.
Request for continuation of $150 per month for office support approved. Treasurer Owens wrote check for $1800 for 12 months of 2010.
c. Continued Police checkpoint support approved.
d. Up to $1000 for identification recognition and publicizing of effective judges.
e. Up to two hundred dollars per month for office help approved.
f. Up to $1000 for anti-DWI Advertising (block ad in the Reporter, New Mexican, Journal North using the Pledge to Drive Sober cards and asking people to sign and carry).
g. Up to $300 for outside heater and propane tanks for Police Checkpoints. Two heaters purchased from Amazon. Propane tanks will be purchased locally.
h. Stamps for past due notices to offenders who haven't paid.
7. Grants Requests:
a. Approved $1000 to Juan's Sober House in June 2011.

8. Dick's Legislative Proposals: Check on-line Survey
9. Victim Impact Panel Speakers are a great asset, Patty, Richard, Theresa, Martin, Juan, and Kenny Martinez.
10. DWI Day January 27th. Allan, Patty, Margaret, Karin, Dick (Karin will look into 4 gift cards at $25.00 each for prize drawing.)
Interlock painting that will be unveiled at the State Capitol will be purchased by Gary Johns of Smart Start Interlock. CEO of MADD may want to use this painting in a campaign as well. Gave four $20 prizes. Got ~300 email addresses.
11. Margaret reviewed plans for Art Show on February 11 and 12, 2011. Artists will donate 50% of income to each of the four organizations. Each artist will donate one painting to a silent auction.
Helpers Allan, Dick, Patty, and Karin will be there to assist with set up at 5 pm. List Opening in PasaPicks section of Pasatiempo.
12. Approved $1000 for rental of the Jemez rooms at the Santa Fe Community College for ten Victim Impact panels during 2011. Received invoice. Will pay by Credit Card.
13. Approved $500 for support of Gail Terzuola's internet service for on-line drug and alcohol prevention specialist classes at SFCC. Done - 1/13/11 #682
